JST Group at the CUEL Golf Invitational 2026, Siam Country Club Rolling Hills

JST Group was proud to be part of the CUEL Golf Invitational 2026 at Siam Country Club, Rolling Hills, on Thailand's Eastern Seaboard. The invitational brought together CUEL's engineering, project and management teams with the contractors and suppliers who work alongside them across the Gulf of Thailand's offshore and onshore energy sector, for a day that was equal parts golf, conversation and catching up with people we have worked with for years.

A special thank you to ASKO and Mantl-Ex for joining us on the day and sharing the JST tent. Two partners, two very different disciplines, and the same reason for being there: the people who run Thailand's energy assets were all in one place.

Why JST turns up to days like this

CUEL is one of Thailand's leading offshore engineering and fabrication contractors, and a long-standing client of JST Group. Much of what we do for energy operators and EPC contractors in the Gulf of Thailand happens on their platforms, in their yards and on their project schedules: offshore and onshore manpower, corrosion control, protective coatings and inspection. A golf day is a rare chance to spend unhurried time with the engineers and managers behind those projects, hear what is coming next, and talk through the problems that never make it into a tender document.

What was on the JST stand

Between rounds, guests stopped by the JST tent to see a cross-section of what the group delivers in Thailand and Southeast Asia:

• Corrosion control and monitoring. Cosasco internal corrosion monitoring systems, Deepwater I-Rod pipe supports that stop crevice corrosion at the support point, and Cortec VpCI vapour-phase corrosion inhibitors for tanks, pipelines and preservation lay-up.
• Pin brazing for cathodic protection. The Electrobraze pin brazing kit that JST's corrosion team recently brought into Thailand as an in-country capability, for attaching cathodic protection cables to live, thin-wall and alloyed pipelines without the heat of exothermic welding.
• HR Solutions. Employer of Record and manpower services, payroll, outsourced contractor management, work permits and visas, and recruitment for the Eastern Seaboard, where the technical and offshore roles this region runs on are filled.

Our partners on the day

Mantl-Ex brought its ATEX and IECEx hazardous-area expertise: inspections, product certification, competency-based training and MantlCore, its AI-driven inspection and compliance software for hazardous-area asset management. For offshore platforms and process plants, certified equipment and documented inspections are not optional, and having that capability alongside JST's corrosion and manpower services means one conversation can cover the asset, the people and the compliance.

ASKO showcased its rotating machinery services: urgent repairs, spare parts, precision installation and commissioning, manufacturing and refurbishment, and maintenance, repair and overhaul for turbines, gearboxes, generators and pumps. The kind of partner an operator needs when a critical machine stops and the production schedule does not.
