Job Description

  • At least 5 years of overall industry and rig-site experience. 
  • Minimum 2 years specifically as a directional driller with mud-motor exposure. 
  • Experience across in fast-paced drilling operations are preferred.
  • Valid BOSIET-T.

    Key Responsibilities 
  • Carry out directional drilling operations on night shift, following the well plan and steering guidance handed over from the Lead DD.
  • Monitor drilling parameters and toolface orientation, adjusting within approved limits. 
  • Relay shift handover notes, survey data, and any anomalies to the Lead DD/day crew. 
  • Support BHA make-up/break-down and routine tool checks at the rig floor. 
  • Maintain HSE and operating discipline throughout night operations. 
  • Keep shift logs and report drilling progress.
