Job Description

  • At least 7 years of experience as a lead directional driller, or a minimum of 5 years serving directly in this coordinator role. 
  • Proven track record supporting fast-paced drilling campaigns.

    Key Responsibilities 
  • Oversee day-to-day directional drilling operations across assigned rig(s), ensuring execution follows the approved well plan.
  • Supervise and coordinate Lead/Night Directional Drillers and MWD/LWD personnel on site. 
  • Liaise with client representatives, well planners, and drilling engineers to resolve technical issues during operations. 
  • Monitor drilling parameters, trajectory control, and BHA performance; escalate anomalies promptly to minimize non-productive time. 
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE standards and operating procedures at the rig site. 
  • Compile daily operational reports and end-of-well summaries.
