Job Description

  • At least 2 years of experience specifically in well planning. 
  • Bachelor in Science/ Engineering in the related field with Petroleum, Geology or Diploma in Petroleum Technology/ Well Drilling Technology

    Key Responsibilities 
  • Prepare well plans that meet applicable technical standards, regulations, and HSE requirements. 
  • Conduct engineering studies (trajectory design, torque & drag, hydraulics, casing, anti-collision) to flag and reduce operational risk ahead of execution. 
  • Fine-tune well programs to cut non-productive time, improve drilling efficiency, and keep spending within the approved budget. 
  • Work closely with drilling, geology, reservoir, directional drilling, and field teams to keep well delivery on track. 
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to improved planning workflows and standard procedures.
