Procurement Manager / Senior Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for tire raw materials, compounding materials, sub-materials, machinery parts, and maintenance-related categories.
• Identify, screen, and develop local and regional low-cost suppliers in Thailand and ASEAN.
• Lead RFI/RFQ processes, supplier benchmarking, price comparison, and commercial negotiations. 
• Work with technical, production, quality, and finance teams to evaluate supplier switching feasibility and qualification requirements.
• Improve supplier portfolio, contract conditions, payment terms, lot size, lead time, inventory conditions, and service levels. 
• Support Design to Cost initiatives by providing supplier market intelligence, material price benchmarks, and alternative sourcing options.
• Establish supplier management routines, including performance review, risk monitoring, and cost reduction pipeline management.

Professional Knowledge 

• Tire/rubber material procurement and supplier market knowledge
• RFI/RFQ, supplier benchmarking, price negotiation, and contract management 
• Raw materials and industrial categories such as natural rubber, synthetic rubber, carbon black, silica, oil, chemicals, steel cord, textile, spare parts, and maintenance services
• Supplier development, supplier performance management, and sourcing risk management
• Cost reduction, LCC sourcing, and category strategy development/ (Low-Cost Country Sourcing) 
• Communication & Negotiation

- Strong negotiation capability with local and regional supplier

- Ability to align procurement, technical, production, quality, finance, and management stakeholders 

- Practical communication skills in Thai and English

• Problem Solving 

- Identify practical cost-down levers from supplier, price, contract, specification, lot size, lead time, and inventory conditions 

- Resolve supplier switching constraints such as quality approval, specification, delivery, and supply stability

- Convert supplier market intelligence into executable sourcing actions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above : Major Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field 
• Must-have: 8+ years of procurement/category management experience in tire; experience in raw material or industrial category sourcing. 
• Preferred: Existing network with low-cost suppliers in Thailand/ASEAN; experience in tire raw materials, sub-materials, spare parts, or maintenance categories; 
• English communication capability preferred.
