DESIGN ENGINEER (MECHANICAL / AUTOMATION SYSTEM)
Role Overview You will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems, fixtures and parts from concept through fabrication. You will be involved in machine assembly and FAT as well as providing engineering support onsite customer factory. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective engineering solutions to our clients. This role is required to be on customer’s site to troubleshoot issues, offer applicable solutions and present (and define) design drawings concept, to meet the customers’ needs. Key Responsibilities • Design automation machines, fixtures and related parts based on conceptual, and requirements provided by the customer using “Autodesk Inventor”. • Design detailed parts drawing and build BOM for fabrication and assembly. • Follow up on the schedule for the designed machines, fixtures and related parts with in-house production department, machines vendors and parts suppliers. • Complete all assigned tasks as delegated by the Head of Business and Engineering Solutions within the schedule given. • Maintain design project schedule by monitoring design progress, coordinate activities, and resolve foreseeable problems. • Control design project plan by reviewing specifications, plan, schedule changes and recommend changes when needed. • Work closely and co-ordinate with Project team and customer on-site. • Work closely with production team to recommend and resolve design issues during fabrication stage. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement design improvements. • Assists in equipment assembly, setup, troubleshooting and customer support. • Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications. • Prepare Machine Operation Manual and documentation. • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, product/system design enhancement, and process improvement. Qualifications & Requirements • Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or above. • At least 3-5 years’ experience in this role. • Experience in Food Factory Automatic System (pick and place, conveyor, sensors, etc.) an added advantage. • Experience in Industrial Automation Machine Design, jigs and fixtures. • Proficient in 3D CAD software (“Autodesk Inventor” preferred). • Project management capability is an added advantage. • Familiar with manufacturing process and materials. • Visit customer’s site/factory when required for discussion and product/parts measurement. • Meet with customer to establish requirements for new or existing product/system design. • Good communication in Thai and English. • International work travelling may be required. Job Responsibilities • Maintain and update project documentation, records, and databases to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Support the Project Manager in creating and maintaining projects in the ERP system, including raising and maintaining purchase orders, tracking and following up on purchase order status, raising change order quotations, and updating total sales revenue from additional change order and update estimated cost at completion (EAC). • Assist Sales/Project Managers in preparing and issuing Proforma Invoices and Tax Invoices according to project milestones. • Update and monitor delivery schedules for equipment shipments, track shipment status, and coordinate with PM and internal team to ensure on-time delivery • Understand global logistics processes and prepare basic shipping documentation (e.g., packing lists, commercial invoices, shipping instructions) in line with company and customer requirements. • Coordinating with PM & MBU located in EU and USA on intercompany PO, Invoice and shipping activities. • Weekly and Monthly reporting consolidation for PMO department. Job Responsibilities : • Analyze product costing and review cost reports to ensure accuracy and reliability. • Monitor manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. • Prepare and present budget variance analysis reports, including key findings and recommendations • Collaborate with relevant departments to enhance cost control processes and improve overall operational efficiency. • Perform other duties and special assignments as assigned by management. Product Specialist, Poultry Primary
The Opportunity ... The Product Specialist, Poultry Primary reports to Director Poultry APAC. Product Specialist has in-depth knowledge and is responsible for product sales support within the region for defined Product Group(s). The Product Specialist works towards increasing business success for the relevant products, including maximizing revenue, margin, and growth. They assist with product management duties for the relevant Product Group(s). He/she is responsible for knowledge transfer to both front line sales and back office sales support. He/she is first point of contact within the region for the Product Group(s) and drives new business development while providing sales consultancy for the relevant product family/families. Key Responsibilities • Lead factory-wide cost competitiveness improvement across manufacturing, procurement, cost control, equipment, quality, and productivity. • Identify structural cost gaps in production process, line layout, material flow, manpower, equipment utilization, maintenance, yield, and scrap. • Drive cross-functional cost reduction initiatives together with procurement, technical, production, quality, finance, and maintenance teams. • Support supplier, equipment, and process decisions by leveraging manufacturing and operations experience. • Establish governance for cost reduction pipeline, project prioritization, implementation tracking, and management decision making. • Coach management teams on low-cost manufacturing practices, productivity improvement, and factory performance management • Translate Design to Cost and Quick Win initiatives into operational execution plans and sustainable routines. Manufacturing Cost Controller / Cost Accounting Manager
Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain SKU-level tire manufacturing cost visibility, including BOM, material cost, labor cost, variable cost, fixed cost allocation, and overhead. • Analyze cost variance by product, size, material, process, production line, and supplier. • Support Design to Cost activities by identifying cost reduction levers from material usage, material grade, process cost, yield, scrap, and specification differences. • Work with production, technical, procurement, and quality teams to validate cost assumptions and quantify impact of cost-down ideas. • Benchmark internal cost structure against competitor or market references where possible, without using confidential third-party information. • Develop cost models and reporting routines to support management decisions on product profitability and cost competitiveness. • Support budget, standard cost setting, cost simulation, and financial evaluation of sourcing, material, and design changes. Procurement Manager / Senior Procurement Manager
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for tire raw materials, compounding materials, sub-materials, machinery parts, and maintenance-related categories. • Identify, screen, and develop local and regional low-cost suppliers in Thailand and ASEAN. • Lead RFI/RFQ processes, supplier benchmarking, price comparison, and commercial negotiations. • Work with technical, production, quality, and finance teams to evaluate supplier switching feasibility and qualification requirements. • Improve supplier portfolio, contract conditions, payment terms, lot size, lead time, inventory conditions, and service levels. • Support Design to Cost initiatives by providing supplier market intelligence, material price benchmarks, and alternative sourcing options. • Establish supplier management routines, including performance review, risk monitoring, and cost reduction pipeline management. Job Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure efficient and reliable workflows. • Lead, develop, and manage team performance to achieve departmental objectives. • Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and applicable regulatory requirements. • Monitor and drive key performance indicators (Quality, Cost, and Delivery). • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting of test results. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency. • Support product quality in mass production through testing, data monitoring, and trend analysis. • Manage laboratory resources, including manpower, equipment, and documentation systems. • Oversee test methods and technical decision-making to ensure reliable and appropriate evaluations. • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality improvement and problem resolution. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering. • Major in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. • Good command of English. • Experience in laboratory management, testing operations, and team leadership is preferred. • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 , IATF 16949 , ISO 9001 ,ISO 14001 and quality management systems is an advantage.
