1 — Inserting the Liner
Winch-pull installation of the flexible liner through small access pits at each end of the host pipe.
Innovative trenchless rehabilitation of pressure pipelines carrying oil, water, and gas. Aramid-reinforced flexible high-pressure liner with patented connector technology — in worldwide service since 2001.
Primus Line is a unique trenchless rehabilitation system for pressure pipelines. A flexible high-pressure aramid-reinforced liner is inserted into the host pipe through small excavation pits, inflated, and terminated with patented Primus Connectors — delivering structurally independent pressure capacity inside the existing pipe envelope.
In worldwide service since 2001 (Primus Line GmbH, Germany), the system has been installed in oil, water, and gas pipelines for utilities, terminals, and refineries. JST is the authorised installer in Southeast Asia, including the recent JO Terminal install at Songkhla (2024).
Installation typically takes one to three days per shot and avoids open-cut excavation — critical in built-up areas, environmentally sensitive sites, or live operating facilities.
A four-step trenchless install — inserting, inflating, terminating, and commissioning.

Pressurised inflation forms a structurally independent inner pipeline inside the host.

Patented Primus Connectors terminate the liner to the host pipe without welding.

Abrasion-resistant PE outer sheath, aramid fibre reinforcement, and PE / TPU / PE-RT inner layer.
