Sales Application Engineer

The Sales Application Engineer • Works directly with the customer and BDM to develop the most appropriate solution utilising inhouse tools covering thermal selection and product costing • Submit and follow up quotations with customers as to secure the purchase order • Mange customer expectations during and post order delivery REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES AND / OR CAPABILITIES : • Strong knowledge of mechanical components and systems (e.g., Heat Exchanges, HVAC, etc.) • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (CAD experience is a plus) • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM and ERP systems is an advantage. • Strong problem-solving and project management skills. • Willingness to travel as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE : • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering or mechanical design • Experience in a customer-facing technical role • Understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and mechanical design principles • Prior experience with custom solution development Benefits & Welfare: • Food allowance is 50 per day • Travelling allowance is 4k • Monthly good attendance starts from 400,600, and 800 • Working hours are 8 hours a day, and 5 days a week • Uniform After pass probation • Provident Fund (After probation) • Group Insurance (After probation)
