Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving high levels of customer
satisfaction and achieving sales targets for turnkey solutions and stand alone
machines, with the potential to support sales of more complex systems in
collaboration with Product Specialists. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Sales
Manager manages and nurtures customer relationships, proactively identifying
opportunities and delivering value adding solutions that enhance uptime,
performance, reliability, and total cost of ownership. The role requires strong
commercial focus, frequent customer interaction, and the ability to translate
customer insights into actionable recommendations.
The candidate should have experience managing local agents or distributors,
ensuring proper market coverage, opportunity follow-up, reporting discipline,
and alignment with the company’s commercial processes.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business
Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Recognized training in sales and/or account management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in selling services or capital
equipment, experience in meat and/or poultry processing equipment sales
strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of primary and secondary processing applications
within the protein industry.
• Experience managing agents, distributors, or indirect sales channels
required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively
with customers and internal teams.
• Solid understanding of systematic maintenance principles and value
adding service solutions
• Ability to build long term client relationships.
• Understanding of customer experience metrics and ability to
translate insights into organizational feedback and action.
• Self motivated, customer focused, and able to manage time
effectively.
• Analytical, organized, goal oriented, and results driven.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Experience working in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment
is an advantage.
