Job Description

• Responsibilities • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform preventive maintenance, routine checkups, and troubleshoot complex HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, and precision air units on offshore rigs and vessels. • Commissioning & Testing: Commission, test, and troubleshoot new or repaired HVAC systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and performance standards. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety and environmental regulations, and conducting inspections to maintain safe operations in hazardous environments. • System Optimization: Analyze HVAC performance to optimize energy efficiency and extend equipment lifespan. • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare maintenance reports, technical documentation, material lists, and progress reports. • Coordination: Liaise with contractors, technicians, and local vendors, head office support team, to coordinate site work and material procurement. Key Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: Generally 3–5+ years of experience in HVAC, specifically with experience in industrial, manufacturing, or offshore environments. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Revit, and MS Office. • Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC codes (e.g., ASHRAE), chiller plant operations, and marine/offshore regulations. • Language: Working use of English for technical documentation and communication, alongside proficiency in Thai • Knowledge and experience with Robotics, and Duct Cleaning will be an advantage. Work Environment • Rotation: Often involves offshore rotations (working on-site for a period followed by leave). • Location: Primarily in the Gulf of Thailand (e.g., near Rayong, Chonburi, Songkhla or offshore projects). Projects in ASEAN and other countries from time to time. • Conditions: Must be comfortable working in confined spaces, at height, or in high-pressure offshore environments. Required Certifications (Common) • Offshore Survival Certification: BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) is typically required for offshore work. • Engineering License: A valid Thai engineering license (Associate Engineer or Professional Engineer level) is often required.
