engineered solutions or CorroLogic® solutions as they are collectively known have been designed for corrosion in the oil and gas industry and are targeted at four corrosion problem applications:

The CorroLogic® systems for Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST’s) incorporate Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VpCI®) that can be applied to new or existing tanks.

Cased pipeline crossings are a particular and common problem for corrosion protection, fortunately for the oil and gas industry Cortec® has invented the patented and protective CorroLogic® pVpCI® corrosion inhibitor loaded Filler, injected into pipeline casings or other tubular void spaces.
CorroLogic® engineered solutions are also used to mitigate corrosion under insulation (CUI) on pipes—an ongoing problem for many industrial facilities. CorroLogic® CUI Inhibitor of course can be used om both new or existing insulation on pipes experiencing temperatures up to 170 °C and CorroLogic® CUI High-Temp Inhibitor can be applied to insulation that will be wrapped around clean pipes reaching temperatures up to 600 °C.
The CorroLogic® range also contains several corrosion solutions for pigging and/or pipeline protection.
