JST operates a fully-integrated competence based training and development system that is designed to ensure that all employees — including new recruits — can be developed through a highly structured process to achieve full competence in their assigned job.
A key benefit of the JST competence based training and development system is that employees identified as having potential for advancement have a solid foundation of skills, knowledge and technical competency to progress in a more efficient, effective and economic manner to their full potential.
The JST training and development system consists of a number of discrete building blocks which together provide a client-specific solution to the training problem. These components may be summarised as follows:
