Norriseal™ pressure controllers

Simple-to-operate, pneumatic pressure controllers sense pressure in a variety of applications and modes.

Series 4300 Pneumatic Pressure Controller

Simple-to-operate, pneumatic pressure controller that senses pressure with a 316 SST Bourdon tube.

Ideal for installations requiring rugged construction, dependable operation
and a minimum of parts.

  • Control options include throttle, throttle with low-cutout, and snap

  • Bourdon tube pressure ratings up to 7,500 psig

  • Field-reversible controller action

  • Orifice sizes to accommodate most actuators

Series 4400, Type 72-44

Pneumatic indicating pressure controller driven by either a 316 SST Bourdon tube (NI-span C or 316 SST diaphragm capsule) or Buna-N slack diaphragm process pressure sensing elements. Also available as a pressure transmitter.

  • Pressure ranges from vacuum to 5,000 psig

  • 100% and 200% proportional band control
  •

  • Four different outputs: 3 to 15 psig, 3 to 27 psig, 6 to 30 psig and adjustable differential gap
  •

  • Direct visual set point accurate to within 1.5%

Series 4700A Pneumatic Pressure Controller

Pneumatic-operated unit that provides pressure control in proportional only, proportional
plus integral (reset), differential gap, or transmitter modes. Standard pressure ratings up to 10,000 psig with 316 SST Bourdon tube sensing elements.

  • Field-reversible direct or reverse action
  •

  • Ambient operating temperature range -40°F to 160°F (-40°C to 71°C)
  •

  • Weather-resistant aluminum enclosure
  •

  • Optional over-travel stop, anti-reset windup, diaphragm seal, differential pressure cell and remote set point

Series 1631 Pressure Controller

The Norriseal Model 1631 pressure controller receives a 4-20mA (10-50mA) signal from a remotely-mounted pressure transmitter and provides proportional plus integral control for a valve positioner or other final control element via a seconf 4-20 mA (10-50 mA) current loop. The control loop also provides power for the controller that operates as a two-wire device; the input loop is optically isolated from the controller to prevent ground loop problems. The system is designed to be intrinsically safe for operation in Class 1, Div. 1 areas when installed with appropriate barriers.

An LCD display provides local indication of the setpoint, proportional and integral control constants and the actual pressure being read from the input loop. A simple three-button keypad is used to program the constants and to calibrate both the input and control current loops. All calibration data is stored in non-volatile EEPROM memory; no battery is required.
